Head from the south exit of Koenji Station toward Pal Shopping Street and you’ll come across 回転寿司みさき 高円寺パル商店街. Some diners appreciate the balance of its red-vinegar-seasoned rice, and the choices range from individual plates to more substantial assortments. Order at the touch panel at your seat, and your plates arrive on the conveyor belt. The casual setup also makes it easy to stop in for a meal on your own.

Bluefin tuna nigiri is a highlight of the menu. There’s the rich, fatty chutoro and otoro, as well as the Honmaguro San-kan-mori, a three-piece selection of different cuts. It’s easy to choose according to your appetite or how much you feel like eating. Other plates include salmon, negitoro gunkan and marinated squid, leaving room to build a selection around the toppings you like.

At lunchtime, there’s also a good choice of reasonably priced set meals. Shio kaze comes with eight popular pieces, including chutoro, plus miso soup. The ten-piece Misaki set adds rolls for a more substantial meal—both are handy when you want a ready-made selection. On weekdays at lunchtime, the limited-quantity Omakase Seafood Bowl is another option for a filling rice-bowl meal.

There’s dine-in service as well as takeout, with sushi assortments suited to different group sizes and occasions, along with rice bowls such as seafood bowls. Open continuously from 11 am to 10:30 pm, it can fit into different parts of the day: stop by the shopping street for a late lunch, or have a few plates with beer or another alcoholic drink in the evening.
